Fair Trade Certified™ organic green tea scented with organic jasmine flowers.

Bring fresh water to a boil, allow to cool slightly, then pour over a bag of Jasmine Green. Steep 2-3 minutes as the scent of spring fills the air. For iced tea, steep 2 tea bags, cool and pour over ice.

Our jasmine green tea is sourced from tea gardens in China where workers' wages have increased 30-40% and premiums recently funded this school dormitory for children.

  • 3 tea bags Jasmine Green
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups uncooked rice, preferably Basmati
  • 1/2 tsp. vinegar
  • 3/4 tsp. sugar
  • pinch of salt & chili flakes
  • 5 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tsp. crushed saffron
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 2 tbsp. chopped parsley yogurt

Bring water to a boil in a pot. Steep tea bags for 5 minutes. Squeeze and remove. Stir in 1 tsp. oil, salt and rice. Cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.

In separate container, steep saffron in 1/8 cup water for 5 minutes. Pour saffron mixture over rice and recover. Cook another 5 minutes, until rice is tender.
